5. Ordering and Payment
5.1 Order Process
- Orders are placed through our website and processed via Snipcart
- You will receive an order confirmation email after placing your order
- A binding contract is concluded when we confirm shipment of your order
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders for any reason
5.2 Payment
- Payment is processed securely via Stripe
- We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard)
- Payment is due in full at the time of order
- All transactions are encrypted using industry-standard SSL technology
6. Shipping and Delivery
- We ship worldwide via DHL Express
- Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination and weight
- Estimated delivery times: EU 2-5 business days, International 5-10 business days
- Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed
- Products are typically dispatched within 30 days of order confirmation
- The customer is responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees
7. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)
Important: If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.

8. Software License
mRS Instruments provides companion software (vna/J and related applications) for use with our products.
8.1 License Grant
- The software is proprietary and owned by mRS Instruments
- You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software
- The software may be installed on unlimited devices, but only one instance may be in use at any time
- The license is valid for the lifetime of the associated hardware product
8.2 Restrictions
- You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
- You may not redistribute the software without our written permission
- You may not use the software for commercial purposes beyond personal use with our products
9. Warranty and Guarantees
9.1 Manufacturer Warranty
- All products come with a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects
- The warranty period begins from the date of delivery
- Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use
9.2 Warranty Exclusions
Warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or improper handling
- Damage from unauthorized modifications or repairs
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage from use with non-compatible accessories
9.3 EU Legal Guarantee
For consumers in the European Union, a legal guarantee of conformity applies to goods in addition to this commercial warranty. You have at least 2 years from delivery to claim this guarantee for any lack of conformity.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
10.1 Disclaimer of Warranties
Except as expressly stated in these Terms, all products are provided "as is" without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
10.2 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- mRS Instruments shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim
- We are not liable for damages arising from misuse of products or failure to follow instructions
11. Acceptable Use
When using our website and products, you agree not to:
- Use our products for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Transmit any malicious code or interfere with our services
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
- Use our content without authorization
12. Business Customers (B2B)
If you are purchasing as a business:
- The 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to you
- You may provide your VAT ID for reverse charge invoicing (EU B2B transactions)
- Custom payment terms may be negotiated for large orders
